KHAO MANEE LITTER and the principles of accompanying kittens on their way to a new home

A litter of Khao Manee kittens has been born in our cattery — a natural breed, deeply rooted in the history of Thailand.
The kittens come from lines imported directly from Thailand (TIMBA pedigrees) and will receive five-generation pedigrees issued by the Polish Felinological Association under the auspices of the World Cat Federation.

We treat every litter not as a breeding “event,” but as a responsible process in which health, welfare, and the kittens’ future relationships with people take precedence over haste or declarations.

WAITING LIST

At this stage, we are keeping a list of interested people.
We are not yet signing reservation agreements for specific kittens.
Decisions about an animal’s future should be made only when we have full knowledge of its health and development.

Therefore, formal reservations begin only after:

  • all kittens have undergone a hearing test (BAER),

  • the litter has been evaluated by a licensed feline judge.

Only after these steps is it possible to:

  • determine the individual traits and predispositions of a kitten,

  • talk about its future home,

  • agree on the terms and sign a reservation agreement.

This time is not a delay — it is an expression of respect toward the kittens and the people who wish to welcome them into their lives.

CARE AND PREPARATION FOR LIFE IN A NEW HOME

The kittens stay with us for as long as their welfare and development require.
Before leaving the cattery, each kitten goes through a full, carefully considered care process:

  • deworming twice,

  • two core vaccinations,

  • rabies vaccination,

  • Safe Animal microchip,

  • hearing test (BAER),

  • neutering/spaying (for kittens not intended for breeding), performed using a micro-incision technique,

  • judges’ evaluation of the litter.

The kittens leave our home:

  • with full health and pedigree documentation,

  • well socialized,

  • emotionally prepared for a change of environment.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP

We do not follow a “first come, first served” rule, nor do we operate under time pressure.
We are looking for people who understand that a relationship with a cat does not begin on the pick-up day, but much earlier — with a decision made with attentiveness and responsibility.

Those who feel close to this way of thinking are welcome to contact us.
We will be happy to answer questions and share more about the kittens and our work.
